今日はハロウィンだったよ。
パーティに行ったんだけど、みんな面白い格好してた。
チャウはミニ悪魔の洋服買ってもらったけど、ちょっと小さくって嫌だった。
うちのママとパパがパンプッキン作ったよ。
パパのはフクロウで、ママのはハードゲイパンプキン。
なかなかのいい出来だね。
Happy Halloween!
I am pooped from attending a Halloween party.
Everyone was all dressed up, including me as a little devil.
Still, I could not scare anyone today.
Even in a devil costume, people think I am adorable.
What can I say? I am irresistable.

 

ママがやっとプーさんパズルを完成させたよ！！
１，０００ピースでちょー難しかったらしい。
今日はチャウの話より、ママの自慢話だね。はは。
これでやっとコタツの上が使えるようになって、パパも大喜び。
My mom finally finished her Pooh puzzle!
It was 1,000 pcs and super hard (or so she says).
It only took her about 3 months.
We can finally use the table top now!!

青空だよーん！最近天気がいいんだ。
でもチャウに言わせれば天気良すぎ。
秋なのに、夏みたいに暑い！！
これじゃ、せっかくのコタツがつかえないじゃん！！
It's like summer again lately.
I am not too trilled about it.
I like autumn. Besides, they won't turn the nice
table heater on with weather like this.
I am ready for nice and cold weather!!!

 

この前お風呂に入ったばかりなのに、
気持ち悪くなって、吐いちゃった。
おかげで飼い主に臭い、臭い言われて、またお風呂に入れられちゃうかも。
今はパパに抱っこしてもらって、ちょっと甘えちゃお。
After a bath just a couple of days ago,
I felt a little sick and threw up...
Now my owner says I stink, so I might have to take another bath.
Right now, I am just going to have my daddy hold me till I feel better.

 

最近ヨセミテ行ったり、公園行ったりで汚れてたから、
とうとうお風呂(シャワー)に入れられた。
ちょっともがいたけど、無駄だったよ。
今度は爪を切るつもりだろうけど、そうはさせないよ。
もう、反抗する気満々のこの険しい顔を見てよ。
いつでもかかってきな！
I was all dirty from my recent trips lately,
that they finally forced me to take a bath.
I tried to get away, but it was no use.
Now they are planning to cut my nails.
Let's see them try, I am ready to fight! (or run).

これは、チャウバッグです。
これに入れば結構どこにでも連れてってもらえるから、かなり気に入ってます。
ナイスフィットしてるでしょ？

If I go into this bag, my owners can take me out more, so I love it!

今週末はヨセミテに行ってきたよ。
空気も水も景色も綺麗で生き返った感じ。
この写真はハーフドームに見とれてるチャウ。
すごいよね～。また行きたいな。
We went to Yosemite this weekend.
The air and water and scenery were all clear and beautiful.
The picture is of me in awe with the Half Dome.
Isn't it amazing? I hope we go again soon.

 

今日はこたつを出したよー！
うれし～な～！！あったか～いな～！！
ちょっと早いかもしれないけど、最近寒いんだもん。
こたつどぁい好き！
では、大好きなこたつでお昼寝タイムなので、ほっといてちょ。
We brought out our heater table today!
It is a Japanese style table with a heater under the table top.
It's super cozy and warm and I am sooooo happy!
Now, leave me alone, I am going to enjoy my nap here under the warm table.

お父さんがBeanBagを買ってきた。
これがまた楽しいんだよね。
パフンパフンとBeanBagの上ではしゃぎまくり。
おかげで黒いBeanBagがチャウ毛だらけ。
今年のチャウの目標：このBeanBagを白くする事。
いっぱいいっぱいゴロンゴロンすれば、いけるよね！
My dad brought home a beanbag.
You have no idea how fun it is to play on that thing.
Its just so soft and makes noises when I move.
Now the black bean bag is turning white with my fur.
Let's see if I can get it all white before the end of this year!

 

紹介が遅れたけど、家のもう一人の住人のテトさんです。
世界一柔らかい毛をもってるんだ。
好きなものはレイズンと砂浴び。
チャウは一緒に遊ぶの好きだけど、テトさんはあんまり好きじゃないみたい。
たまにしつこく近づくと怒られるちゃう。
チャウもよく鼻水かけてるから、毛並みを気にしてるテトさんに嫌われてもしかたないかな。
This is my other roommate, Teto.
He is a chinchilla, and they have the softest fur in the world.
He likes raisins and sand baths.
I like playing with him, but I don't think the feeling is mutual.
Especially since I accidently spray snot on him all the time,
I think he is annoyed after taking such good care of his fur that I spoil it.
