This is how I feel today.
You know, it's just one of those days.

 

最近、天気がとてもいいの。
晴れた日は草の上を走り回るのが大好き。
日差しの中でお昼寝も最高！
The weather is really nice lately.
I love running around in the cool green grass.
And nothing beats a nice nap in the warm sun!

 

今日は秋を感じさせる、とても風の強い日だった。
チャウは普段は秋が大好き。柔らかくってカラカラの落ち葉の上を
ぴょんぴょん飛べまわって遊ぶのがちょー楽しい。
しかし、CAの葉っぱは柔らかいどころか、トゲトゲ。
地面がちくちくして痛いのなんの。
こんな上歩けないので、抱っこしてもらうまで、座り込みです。
Today was a very windy autumn day.
I usually love autumn. I love playing in the soft, dry fallen leaves.
Jumping around and hearing them crackle beneath my feet.
In CA, however, there is no such soft leaves.
My apartment is surrounded by hard and thorny leaves,
that poke my paws when I walk.
I cannot walk on such thorny paths,
so I sat in protest until my owner carried me home.

こうしてると、あたしも結構足が長く見えるでしょ？
モデルになれるかしら。
なに？これは足じゃなくって腕だって？
それは違うでしょ。犬ですから。
People say I am short, but look at these long beautiful legs.
I can be the next America's Top Model.
What's that you say? These are my arms?
What are you talking about, I am a dog, these are my legs!

 

日本にいる、いとこのミミちゃん。桜がよく似合ってるね。
チャウもいつか会えるといいな。でも日本は遠いもんなー。
My cousin in Japan, looking pretty with the cherry blossoms.
It would be nice to meet her someday, but I don't know if I can handle the flight to Japan...(I hate it when my ears pop)

 

遊び疲れて、ちょっと一休み。
あんまりくっつかないでよ・・・
まったく、しょうがないなー。＾～＾；
Taking a break from running around.
Hey, stay on your side... I'm no cuddler. (okay fine, maybe a little)

今お泊りに来ている、友達のLunaちゃん。体は大きいのに、足の長さはチャウと一緒。でもなかなか足は速くって、キャッチボールとかすると、かなわない。どーせチャウはボールが口に入らないんだけどね。毎日飼い主の愛情の取り合いしてるけど、一緒に遊んだり、お留守番も一人じゃないから、楽しいのさ。
This is my friend Luna who is staying with us now. She is about twice my size, but her legs are the same length as me! But she still runs fast, and I can hardly keep up when we play catch. Not that any ball (other than a golf ball) really fits in my mouth.... Although we have to fight for who gets my parents attention everyday, it's nice to have someone to play with (as long as she understand who is boss here, hehem.) 

もうちょっと・・・もうちょっと!

この前キャンプ行った時の写真。暑くって、虫も多くって、チャウはもう死ぬかと思ったよ。誰かこのノリノリの弟を止めてくれ。こっちはクタクタなのだ。

Me at St Joseph's campground. It was so hot and the bugs were attacking me from all corners, I thought I would die. I can't move another muscle. Someone tell my little bro to calm down, I am trying to get some rest here....
